Commercial Water Filters for Data Center Cooling & Process Water

The ideal commercial water treatment setup incorporates reliable pre-filtration, such as high-flow cartridges or multi-bag housings, ahead of the RO membranes. This protects delicate membrane elements from particulate fouling, optimizes uptime, and preserves cooling efficiency across demanding industrial and mission-critical installations.

Filter housings are offered in 304L stainless steel, 316/316L stainless steel, and non-metallic fiberglass options. These configurations provide broad chemical compatibility, corrosion resistance, and structural strength under varied operating pressures and temperatures up to 300°F.

Multi-bag filter housings provide substantially greater total filtration area than single-bag units. By distributing contaminant loading across 2 to 24 filter bags, they minimize operating pressure drop, increase dirt-holding capacity, and handle high flow capacities up to 4,200 GPM.

Filtration media spans felt filter bags from 1 to 200 microns, mesh filter bags from 1 to 1500 microns, and high-flow pleated polypropylene cartridges from 0.5 to 100 microns, providing flexible particulate removal across open and closed water circuits.

Select filter vessel configurations are engineered and fabricated in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 1 pressure vessel requirements, CE/PED 2014/68/EU standards, and manufactured under ISO 9001 certified quality management systems.

Filter elements are typically replaced based on differential pressure readings across the vessel. For example, high-flow cartridges feature a recommended change-out differential pressure of 30 psi differential to maintain consistent flow and protect upstream pumps and heat exchangers.
