Screen configurations feature perforated metal with opening diameters ranging from 1/32 inch to 3/4 inch, delivering open area ratios between 20% and 60%. For finer filtration needs, optional wire mesh liners are available in 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100 mesh ratings, along with fine micron linings to trap small construction particulates before they reach downstream components.

The recommended change-out differential pressure is 15 to 20 PSI (1.0 to 1.4 bar) ΔP. Operating across this threshold indicates particulate accumulation on the cone screen. Depending on configuration, the strainers withstand a maximum operating differential pressure up to 50 psi (3.4 bar). Monitoring differential pressure prevents excessive flow restriction and structural overload across the conical element.
