Stainless Steel Valves and Butterfly Valves

These valves are constructed using 304, 316, and 316L stainless steel for valve bodies, stems, and discs. Sealing options include resilient elastomer and fluoropolymer materials such as Buna-N, EPDM, PTFE, RPTFE, and Viton. These materials provide compatibility across clean water, utility water, and demanding process fluid environments while supporting sanitary standards or high operating temperatures.

Valves can be configured with manual handles, including quick quarter-turn trigger-style levers and manual gear operators for precise manual positioning. For automated process loops and remote equipment isolation, valves can also be equipped with pneumatic actuators or electric actuators depending on facility requirements and system control architecture.

Size ranges span from 1/2 inch to 12 inch for standard and sanitary configurations, and 1-1/2 to 24 inch or larger for wafer-style valves. Available end connections include wafer-style installations between mating pipe flanges, weld end connections, tri-clamp sanitary fittings, and ANSI flanged ends to match your piping specifications.

Operating limits depend on the specific valve design and seating materials. Wafer butterfly valves support maximum working pressures up to 285 psi and temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). Other butterfly valve configurations support working pressures up to 140 psi and temperatures up to 200°F (93°C) based on selected configurations and seals.

Select butterfly valves feature hygienic construction with surface finish options including 30RA ID, 20RA MP ID, and 15RA EP ID. These configurations conform to applicable sanitary, ASTM, ASME, and FDA requirements. Testing, material certifications, dimensional inspections, and surface-finish verification reports can be provided upon request.

These valves are used for flow control and equipment isolation across water cooling systems, chilled water loops, cooling towers, and heat exchangers. They also serve process water lines, recirculating utility systems, cooling skids, pump systems, water treatment installations, and clean-in-place (CIP) water systems in mission-critical and industrial facilities.
