4 Stainless Steel Foot Valves

A foot valve is often referred to as a suction check valve, bottom check valve, or pump priming valve. Because it incorporates an integrated inlet screen alongside a one-way flow mechanism, it is essentially a specialized lift or poppet check valve positioned at the fluid intake point to sustain prime and filter coarse solids.

These foot valves offer multiple elastomeric seal options, including Buna-N, EPDM, and Viton. Selecting the proper seal material depends on the operating temperature range, fluid chemistry, and system demands of your application, ensuring tight shutoff and reliable backflow prevention across cooling water, water treatment, or general liquid transfer systems.

The valves meet applicable ASME requirements, including ASME B16.1 and ASME B16.5 standards for flanged configurations.
