Recommended flow rates depend on vessel geometry, cartridge length, and micron rating, which ranges from 0.5 to 100 microns. Differential pressure governs operations: cartridges maintain up to 60 psi maximum differential pressure at 70°F and 35 psi at 176°F. A change-out differential pressure of 30 psi differential is recommended to maintain safe, steady fluid movement.

Drinking water systems rely on certified materials complying with standards like FDA 21 CFR and EU 10/2011 regulations. Polypropylene high flow cartridges meet these food and beverage contact requirements, making them suitable pre-filters for reverse osmosis and bottled water production. For residential tap use, compact multi-stage systems with specific carbon or sediment media are typically deployed.

High flow filter cartridges for chilled loop filtration provide particle removal ratings spanning 0.5 to 100 microns. This range allows facility engineers to target fine suspended solids, scaling debris, or pipe sediment. Operators can balance particle capture efficiency with differential pressure limits to maintain uninterrupted thermal performance across mission-critical cooling loops.

These cartridges feature an all-polypropylene cage, core, and end cap with a maximum operating temperature of 176°F (80°C). The maximum operating differential pressure is 60 psi (4 bar) at 70°F (21°C), and 35 psi (2.4 bar) at 176°F (80°C). The recommended change-out differential pressure is 30 psi differential.

Available in single open-ended configurations with inside-to-outside flow, these 6-inch diameter cartridges are manufactured in 20, 40, 60, and 80-inch lengths. To ensure broad chemical compatibility with various water treatment additives, seal options include EPDM, E-FKM, FKM, and silicone gaskets, preventing bypass in critical data center chilled water systems.
