Stainless Steel Bag Filter Housing for Data Center Cooling

Bag filter media is available in polypropylene, polyester, nylon, felt, and mesh options. These materials fit securely inside stainless steel perforated support baskets, providing reliable dirt-holding capacity and preventing unfiltered liquid bypass across critical chilled water circuits.

The ideal housing depends on operating parameters. Single bag filter housings handle flow rates up to 176 GPM for smaller loops, while multi-bag housings accommodate 2 to 24 bags for flows up to 4,200 GPM at design pressures up to 150 psi.

Housings are manufactured using 304L and 316/316L stainless steel options. These alloys provide corrosion resistance against treated cooling water, biocides, and outdoor atmospheric conditions typical of cooling towers and condenser loops.

Depending on the housing model, closure options include V-clamp, band clamp, swing-bolt, davit-assisted, and quick-opening configurations. These allow efficient maintenance and quick changeouts during scheduled maintenance windows.

Housings can be equipped with Buna-N, EPR/EPDM, Silicone, and Viton/FKM gaskets. Multi-bag housings withstand operating temperatures up to 300°F (149°C), while single-bag units handle temperatures up to 250°F (120°C).

Housings are manufactured under ISO 9001-certified quality management systems, with ASME Section VIII, Division 1 code compliance or code-stamped construction available for applicable configurations.
