Micron Mesh Bags for Data Center Sidestream Filtration

Our mesh filter bags are available in ratings ranging from 1 to 1500 microns. This broad spectrum allows facility operators to selectively target large suspended solids, pipe scale, or fine silt depending on the exact cleanliness requirements and pressure limits of their sidestream cooling water loops.

The filter bags are manufactured using polypropylene, nylon, polyester, and specialty synthetic media. Polypropylene options satisfy selected FDA food-contact standards, while nylon and polyester configurations provide high mechanical strength and temperature resistance up to 450°F depending on the chosen media and bag configuration.

These filter bags operate at system pressures up to 100 psi, depending on the specific filter bag and vessel housing configuration. They are engineered to accommodate differential pressures spanning 1 to 35 psi as particulate matter collects on the filter surface during normal filtration cycles.

Flow capacity ranges from 5 to 175 GPM per bag, depending on the selected bag size, filter housing, and micron rating. Standard industry sizes include #1, #2, #3, and #4 configurations, enabling flexible integration into various sidestream loop volumes.

Dirt-holding capacity ranges from 1 to 15 lbs. per bag, depending on the physical size of the bag, the chosen mesh structure, and the nature of the contaminant load present in your cooling or process water system.

The filter bags feature sewn construction with multiple collar options, including carbon steel, stainless steel, or polypropylene rings, as well as molded plastic flanges. Optional integrated handles and pull tabs are available to simplify bag change-outs and maintenance procedures.
